So, I ended up taking a few days off from working on podfic (which has set me so far behind schedule, I'm not sure it's worth trying to push to get this podfic done in time for amplificathon) but I'm back at editing it now.
I'm working on chapter 5 right now, which is 11475 words and 1:42:57 of raw recording. O_O I've managed to edit the first 47:36 of it down to 38:03, which leaves me with 55:21 left to go.

My total edited in this project is 5:08:19 so far, which officially makes it my longest podfic by 19s. \o/

I'm glad this post is up! I have the day off work so I've been poking away at editing. In the morning, I finally completed a podfic I've been sitting on for ages. Between 6+ months for permission and then a couple months since I edited it where I just haven't felt ready to post, I've spent 1.5 years trying to get this podfic into the world, and today's the day! Then it uploaded super-slowly and now all that's left is to post... if I can work up to motivation.

I'm also editing away on Ch. 23 of my 30-chapter podfic. I've got 58 minutes drafted, with about 50 raw minutes left to sift through. I'm not *pushing* myself, but I'm enjoying it, so we'll see how far I get :D

Yay! That's awesome! 1.5 years is a long time to work on a podfic, I'm glad you finally get to post it. :)

And I so admire you for doing this 30 chapter podfic. It's so much work and can take so much to keep with it (which is why I tend to fail at this kind of thing :S).

I have a podfic that's recorded, edited, and covered, but I just can't get up the energy to post. *flops on the couch*

ETA: I posted!!!! Still not going for points, but I posted something. :D
