That's a really beautiful cover! But... I think it might call to mind the wrong kind of slave? The story is about a group of slaves who are bought by an abolitionist lord and end up joining their sort of underground railway.

Okay, huuuuuge story, impossible to read it. Any chance you could suggest a scene or a more manageable ~1000-2000 word chunk from it to read that'd be a good guide to making suitable art? If so then I can do something.
ETA: also, not familiar with Bandom really, so who are the panic 2.0 boys? Names help in finding reference pics.

Hmmm, this is possibly because I just edited this scene yesterday, but maybe this chapter starting at "On the fifth day Jon comes back from an early morning scout to find Brendon carefully dressing himself in the stolen clothes..."

The scene of Ryan putting on the make up stands out to me (which is a thing RL Ryan did).

Panic 2.0 is composed of Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and Jon Walker.
